On June 10th – 12th, the employees of our Norwegian partner company Artec Aqua visited Iceland.

The purpose of the visit was to hold workshops with us and other partners in the project and to inspect construction on the site in Þorlákshöfn, where the salmon farm will be built. It was an important phase in the project, which aims to set up a modern high-tech salmon farm on land.

The visit was considered a success and had an important and positive impact on the progress of the project. The collaboration between the two companies has proven to be extremely successful, opening up new opportunities and strengthening the relationship between Iceland and Norway in the field of fish farming.

During the same trip, representatives of Artec Aqua met with their other partner companies in Iceland, which are many of the country's leading engineering firms. The cooperation of these companies ensures that the design of the project complies with Icelandic standards and environmental aspects.

We are excited about the continuation and continued cooperation between the companies. With shared knowledge and experience, we will create exemplary conditions and an environment for salmon farming on land that will promote increased sustainability and efficiency in the industry, which can become a new basic industry in the country.

About the company

GeoSalmo is an Icelandic company that specializes in sustainable salmon farming on land. Our goal is to produce high-quality salmon in an environmentally friendly way, using the latest technology and best practices in the industry. We place great emphasis on innovation and sustainability, with the goal of ensuring healthy and responsible growth in Icelandic aquaculture.

Heimsókn Artec Aqua til Íslands

Dagana 10.
